EAT HERE!!!

I have eaten at this place for years. I am somewhat of a gourmet, but when I want a good down and dirty BBQ meal, this is THE place. The ribs are always point perfect. Early on, I recall ordering the prime rib. Within 2 minutes the chef (owner) Vander, came out and apologized. He explained that he hadn't had time to change the menu that day. The meat truck had come in that morning, he looked the meat over and didn't like the look of the rib so he sent it back. I liked the idea and have been going back ever since. The menu, and the venue have both changed over the years, but the food has only improved if that is possible. It has gone from a family place, to a upper class "cloth napkin" place, to a sports bar now. His BBQ has won awards all over, With all of the BBQ and steak places around, it's easy to see why this one has survived. Oh yes, and free soup with your lunch, how can you complain about that, jeez! Eat here! You will not be disappointed, I never have been
